Forum consolidations

Sadly, it is time for more forum consolidations. Newsroom posts can now go in Members, Catholicism and Apologetics is combined with General Debates like how it was back in the day, and Reading and Writing are combined to form one big happy forum.

I liked the Catholicism and Apologetics forum. Why did we have to merge it with GD?

Because they weren't being used enough. I am sure that if we start getting a lot of Catholicism topics, the admins would consider re-seperating them.
Besides, just having one Debate forum is the way that BOL used to be back in the day.

Too many forums is bad, it stretches the board too thin and makes things awkward and less time efficient for users. Plus, people might see and reply to something they might not otherwise look at.
I think it was an excellent decision. If you guys want your separate forums back, get busy posting

To think, someone on the train a couple days ago said that the recession was over. Looks like the recession continues with BOL making forum cuts... hopefully I'm not next.
