Titles

Postby Draper » Mon Aug 01, 2005 1:32 pm

In order for a person to get a title by their name, an administrator, generally Dude or myself, have to manually add them. Although there have been exceptions in the past, titles are not generally available upon request. Not only would it add more work to the admin staff, but it is more fun when they are earned.

Over time, certain things that the members do or say come to the attention of an admin, and if the admin feels like they should get a title expressing something unique about the member, it is done.

No, you got yours because you were just asking for it (a new title that is).

Speaking of your profile, is there some particular reason that "Hiding" is spelled with a "y"?

Yes,thats a good idea.(To earn them)It is more fun that way.
So far away
'Cause you know, you know, you know
I love you
I've loved you all along
I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
And you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore

I've had two titles, neither was in any way related to my personality or actions.

Now it seems I'm back to nothing and the admins never notice me.

Though it might be cool to have stars and a title. Back when people were asking for them, I never did cuz I was scared of what I might get.

haha....I would never ask for a title, but I don't think I'm prominent enough anymore to get one on my own, so oh well. :P
It is, of course, true that wars never do half the good which the leaders of the belligerents say they are going to do. Nothing ever does half the good--perhaps nothing ever does half the evil--which is expected of it. And that may be a sound argument for not pitching one's propaganda too high. But it is no argument against war.--C.S. Lewis
